We added bentonite clay to our plant based hairstyling waxes to provide cleanse and lift impurities from the hair, aiding in conditioning, shine, softness, and definition.

Are there any tips for working with this wax? It is so hard that I had to cut a chunk out with a knife then microwave that piece to soften it up enough so that I could use it. That isn't really practical for daily use, especially when traveling. Any tips would be welcome.
Hello Chris, we sent you a link to our article how to warm up the wax. You would need to use your thumb nail to scrape off a little wax and warm it up using your fingers. Does this product lead to build-up if used regularly? I am looking for something to use as a natural locking aid for dreads. On 4b-4c hair.
Hello Janiel, we had a pretty good results with 4c hair type. I believe it will work well to lock your dreads. It won’t build up because it’s used with natural butters and oils that will get absorbed by your hair. The wax itself is not going to be sticky or goopy either.

can you use on 4c hair?
Hello Nathaniel, yes you can use our Original Hairstyling Wax on 4C hair. We would recommend to start with the smaller amount for you to understand the desired look and texture. We did get positive feedback from 2A to 3C saying it helped them to lock the curls.
