Traditional Soap Making

Since 2018 we’ve been traditionally making cold process soap using only natural animal-fat free ingredients without adding essential or fragrance oils – it’s been going fantastic!

We’ve greatly improved our soap making skill during these years. What’s most rewarding is to see and hear customers complimenting our bar soap for its superb quality. They also emphasize benefits that they receive from using our bar soap. We’ve gained a group of loyal customers who have been treating our soap bars as their special bathing routine. Few are using our soap as a face wash. That surprised us because we were always told that bar soap is mainly used for body, not for face or hair.

We were designing our soap bars to fit the needs of an urban minimalist who’s not afraid to be authentic to himself. Who can use our bar soap as a shampoo, conditioner and a body wash. And occasionally use it as a shaving soap or even a beard soap.

We start our process by making a small batch of soap using our “Original” blend and then adding oil-infused herbs. Original blend itself contains oil-infused eucalyptus that is being replaced with other herbs that we are testing. Sometimes we add solids like Pine Tar or Coffee that brought live to our now most recognized bar soap.

To avoid any possible shortcuts, we use original and natural ingredients that make up a final oil and butter blend. Our Coffee Soap contains freshly brewed coffee and coffee solids, it’s smells like a bitter coffee and has a very good exfoliating properties. We refuse to add fake essential oils or fragrance oils to mimic the smell without adding real ingredients. Same goes with all our products. Sometime this approach makes us not to produce certain blends because we cannot make them using traditional soap making techniques – but we stay our course.

We will stay with our believes and continue making the best cold process soap we’ve learned. Thank you for reading. Please subscribe to our blog for periodic post updates or checkout out store for eco-friendly minimalist products.
